Carolyn has over thirty years’ experience in vocational training and education with TAFE NSW where her most recent role was Head Teacher of Business and Management.
Carolyn’s outstanding educational leadership has proven her commitment to her staff and students and their successful learning outcomes and welfare. She was presented the Staff Achievement Award from North Coast Institute of TAFE in 2007 for “Outstanding Achievement in Responding to Customers” and was nominated for the “Director General’s Award for Excellent Service to Public Education and Training” (2006).

Tatiana worked as a teacher of Music and English in the Secondary Education sector for over twenty years. She was dedicated to nurturing and developing student potential and committed to promoting excellence in education.
She entered the Tertiary Education sector with TAFE NSW in 2003 and has worked closely with the Head Teacher, staff and students in the Business and Management Faculty to support growth and continuous improvement in systems and processes affecting Training and Education. Tatiana has also worked as an amanuensis in a number of Faculty areas to support students with special needs.

Carolyn has over 25 years' experience in the Vocational Education and Training sector with TAFE NSW where her most recent role was Educational Leader for the Business Faculty. This role included mentoring new teachers and head teachers to ensure they were equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide a quality training experience.
Her teaching experience spans the Business Management and Training and Assessment areas in both TAFE and the private sector state wide. She is highly experienced in curriculum and assessment development which includes writing material for TAFE NSW to be used across all Institutes.
Carolyn quickly embraced the concept of distance learning as a delivery mode and has developed online learning material and delivered and assessed online since 2002.

Kerry has over 20 years experience in the Vocational Education and Training sector as a Business Management and TAE Trainer and Assessor for TAFE as well as 10 years management experience in the Corporate sector in Telstra Management.
Kerry teaches from her heart and is passionate about supporting and mentoring her learners to ensure they receive the best learning experience possible. She is a qualified Myers Briggs practitioner and specialises in the delivery of Leadership and Management. Kerry delivers engaging workshops on Developing Emotional Intelligence and has a love for Language, Literacy and Numeracy.
She has been responsible for the development of our Indigenous Digital Literacy programme and has been making a difference in remote Indigenous Communities. Kerry is also passionate about making a difference to businesses and specialises in training “Real Skills for Work”.

Tersem has over ten years’ experience in vocational education and training. Her experience includes working for TAFE NSW and the International Teacher Training Academy (Australia) as one of the Lead Trainers and Assessors in TAE. She has worked as a Training and Development Consultant at Intel in the Greater Asia Region and for multinational corporations, such as the Penang Skill Development Centre for corporate managers and MNC's staff, the KDU College and PTPL – formerly known as IPG. Her industry areas of expertise are TAE and Business and Information Technology.

Lead Trainer and Assessor - TAE
Angie has over 25 years’ experience in the Vocational Education and Training sector where her most recent role was a Senior VET Developer at Charles Darwin University. In this role, she provided VET staff with professional development in all aspects of learning, teaching and compliance; assisted VET teams with program design, development and assessment and provided instructional design for online resource development.
Angie began her career in Tertiary Education in TAFE NSW where she worked in pre-vocational and IT areas coordinating numerous courses and teaching mathematics, statistics, calculus, IT applications and science units. In 2009, Angie moved to Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute (ADVETI) in the United Arab Emirates, where she managed the Service Industries School delivering the Diploma of Environment Health and Safety and Diplomas of Travel and Tourism.
Angie has been passionate about education for decades and has extensive training experience with diverse student cohorts at varying educational levels and a wealth of knowledge of the VET sector. Angie is currently responsible for delivering and assessing the TAE qualifications to new and existing teachers and trainers.

Instructional Designer and Lead Facilitator
Sandy comes with a wealth of experience and is an instructional designer who develops resources for the TAE and BSB training packages. There are more than 50 RTOs throughout Australia who use her resources (including ITTA). Sandy is one of ITTA’s Lead Trainers and Assessors in TAE and Leadership and Management.
Sandy’s background is change management, starting in the late 1970s helping organisations transition to computers. This involved analysing systems, planning and tailoring the installations and training staff. This is when she discovered her love of training.
About 16 years ago she left the corporate world and entered the VET world as a trainer/assessor. It was frustration with the quality of resources available that prompted her to begin writing learning and assessment material for VET qualifications.
Sandy continues to train, because she says it’s not possible to write engaging and relevant resources unless you can picture the trainees. Her resources are peppered with examples gathered from her years in the corporate world.

Lyndall worked as teacher of Economics and Geography in the Secondary Education sector and as a consultant in Urban and Regional Planning before entering the Tertiary Education sector. For the past sixteen years Lyndall has been teaching and writing course material for Southern Cross University and TAFE NSW in Business Management, Tourism Management, Indigenous Tourism Management, Extension Services in Rural Communities Studies, Environmental and Socio-cultural Sustainability in Development and Ethics.

Diane is a recently retired NSW TAFE Head Teacher with 28 years of teaching and managing experience in the areas of Training and Assessment, Business, Computing/IT, Administration and Management. Since the mid 1990’s Diane’s specialist area was training and assessing teachers in both the classroom and the workplace. Diane is highly experienced in curriculum development and over the past 15 years has written learning and assessment material for TAFE.
She was influential in the implementation of distance and workplace delivery for TAFE students. Diane’s own passion for teaching has continued to motivate teachers to embrace the full spectrum of training and assessment. This has been evident in the last 15 years in her mentoring and tutoring support for teachers undertaking University study in education and teaching degrees.

Administration and Marketing
Rochelle comes from a strong background of traditional and social media marketing. For the past five years Rochelle was employed at a popular music festival located in Toowoomba, Queensland. In her time there she was in charge of all administration, Council liaison and was Personal Assistant to the Festival Director and Marketing Manager. Rochelle comes with an extensive background in customer service and has a passion for understanding the psychology behind both traditional and social media marketing.
Currently studying a Double Degree in Business Management and Marketing.
Staff Welfare Officer
Lillie is responsible for excellence in development and maintenance of staff well-being and morale. She has achieved excellent results working with the Academy staff over the first 12 months of her traineeship and is now using her skills to support the Academy staff.
Shadow Staff Welfare Officer
Piper has come all the way from Maggie’s Rescue to join the Academy staff. She is being mentored by Lillie and is responsible for ensuring staff well-being and morale. She has achieved excellent results during the first few weeks of her traineeship particularly in the area of Emotional Intelligence.
